President of Ukraine discussed "new security Challenges for Europe and Ukraine-U.S. Strategic Partnership".
President Yushchenko discribed his country's position on contemporary challenges for European security and Ukraine's contribution to regional and international peace and stability. He gave a brief sketch of Ukraine's history as a background for its present and future development. He also highlighted the prominent role of the media in educating the people and brining truthful coverage of events to their multiple audiences.
Yushchenko made his Press Club appearence before heading to the White House for a meeting
with President George W.Bush.
