German Chancellor Angela Markel, who started her life as a citizen
of East Germany has a short memory?
She has to remmember who and what is KGB and Soviet regume.
171 peple were killed or died attempting to escape at the Berlin Wall between August 13, 1961 and November 9, 1989.
Only in 1990 after Berlin Wall was destroyed, NATO brought freedom to East Germany.
German Chacellor has to understand that countries that want to be a part of democratic world should not be rejected.
But not only this. On May 9, 1955 West Germany has formally joined NATO. Country that was responsible for beginning of World War II became member of NATO but did not have credentials to be a member of NATO in that time.
But NOTO gave this apportunity and Germany became democratic country right now.
On May 9, 1955 Dr Adenauer said in German:
"Today, everywhere in Germany, peace and freedom are felt to be the greatest treasures as was true in the best periods of her history"
People remember and know History of Germany. Not everyone forgot about it.

It is not a question of defeat of Ukraine and Georgia at the NATO summit it  is a question of The Defeat of Democracy in Europe. Kremlin regime found
"the method" to devide the members of the alliance and in five-ten years
Europe will be defeated by  Kremlin regime.
Old Europe did not reject support for Ukraine and Georgia they  did reject own future, future of Democracy of Europe.
USA won support to endorse a US missile defense system based in Europe and support to provide more troops for Atghanistan. It is a present victory of USA.
But Europe faces uncertain future.
Kremlin regime think that they have a victory, BUT..........

But Ukraine and Georgia  did not walk away empty handed.
They got a firm commtment from NATO that they would eventually
become full members.
NATO proved again that NATO is democratic organization.

Gazprom and International Anti-Monopoly Law
New challenge for G8 summit to address the issue of Gazprom and its anti-competitive activities.

Competition policy is becoming increasingly important in the world economy. It is time for the development for basic rules on a world level in response to the globalization of the world economy. The 21st centery world economy became increasingly global and the introduction of competition policy should be widely advanced on a world level.
Anti-competitive behavier is becoming international.
International cooperation became important for addressing this issue.
International cooperation on Anti-Competitive Activities and International Anti-Monopoly Law should be strictly applied to anti-competitive behavier.
Gazprom is exploiting the situation and abusing its dominent position to curb competition.
On April 23-25, 2008 UN hold commemorative the 17th International Conference on occasion of the 22nd anniversary of Chornobyl accident.

Russia has provided passports to more than 80 percent of its residents. But its self-declered independence has not been recognised by any country, including Russia.
Abkhazia's de facto authority are talking about independence and same time population of Abkhazia has Russian passports.
It is a nonsense.
What kind of independence they are looking for?
